For hospital & wound-care teams using Epic Haiku / Rover
Calibration dots for Epic wound-measurement photos.
Item CAL05237 is a 1/2" fluorescent-green adhesive dot used as a size reference when a wound-care team photographs a wound for Epic’s automated wound-measurement software (Haiku or Rover) or other compatible imaging workflows. ChromaLabel is not affiliated with and does not make Epic software. These are the calibration labels hospitals place next to the wound before the photo.

What these are for
A known-size marker next to the wound, for the camera.
Automated wound-measurement software reads the dot in the photo to calculate scale, then measures the wound’s length, width, depth and surface area from that reference. The dot has to be a consistent, known size and an easy color for the imaging software and the clinician to spot, which is why these are fluorescent green and sized to 1/2".

Go-live planning
Order the right amount, before the right date
Wound-care teams tell us two things most often: they need the dots confirmed and shipped before a go-live date, and they end up over-ordering because the PO minimum doesn’t match one clinic’s real usage. A few things that help:
- 1
Order one pack with a purchase card first to confirm it’s the right dot for your workflow, before starting vendor setup or a PO.
- 2
Most wound-care teams use roughly 300–600 dots a month, so one 1,200-dot pack lasts about 2–4 months. Size your first order to your team’s real monthly volume rather than the $200 PO minimum alone.
- 3
Rolling out to several sites or a whole system? Ask us for consolidated, system-wide pricing and a scheduled release so one PO covers the rollout instead of a separate PO per site.
- 4
Before your go-live date, get written confirmation of your PO number and an expected ship date. Call (800) 256-0435 with your PO number if you haven’t heard back, or check status anytime at tracker.chromalabel.com with your order or PO number and email.

FAQ
From real questions we get about CAL05237
Do you ship the same day?
No. In-stock, purchase-card orders usually ship within 1 business day via USPS, UPS or FedEx. We don’t promise same-day shipping. PO orders ship once vendor setup and the PO are confirmed.
What is the minimum order for a purchase order?
$200, which is about 10 packs of CAL05237. If that’s more than your clinic needs right now, a purchase-card order has no minimum, and it's a good way to get your first pack while vendor setup is in progress.
Can you confirm you received our PO and tell us when it will ship?
Yes. Email your PO or call (800) 256-0435 with the PO number and we'll confirm receipt and an expected ship date. You can also check status anytime at tracker.chromalabel.com with your order or PO number and email.
Can these dots be sterilized for use in the OR?
We don't have data confirming these dots can be sterilized or autoclaved, so we can't say they're safe for a sterile field. CAL05237 is supplied non-sterile, as an adhesive label for marking skin or the area near a wound before a photo is taken, not for use inside a sterile field. If your OR protocol needs a sterile calibration marker, call (800) 256-0435 before you order so we can check whether this product fits your workflow.
Do you sell rolls or a dispenser box instead of sheets?
Yes. The same item, CAL05237, is also available on rolls (1,000 per roll) or in a dispenser box (1,000 per box) by request. Call (800) 256-0435 or use the form above and we'll get you a quote.
How do we set up ChromaLabel as a new vendor?
Request the sample/quote form above and choose "Help setting up as a vendor," or see our Buyers & Procurement page. We can provide a W-9, ACH/bank letter and certificate of insurance on request.
How many dots will our team need?
Most wound-care teams we hear from use roughly 300 to 600 dots a month, so one 1,200-dot pack covers about 2 to 4 months. Use that as a starting point and adjust after your first month.
Is the 6-pack worth it?
If you're rolling out to several sites, or you'd rather cut down on repeat purchase orders, the 6-pack (CAL05237-6PK, 7,200 dots) bundles six packs into one line item. For a single clinic trying it for the first time, the single pack is the simpler start.
