Air Force precision measurement program. Calibrated, void, limited, and CNR labels with program-specific fields.

ALL BRANCHES

PMEL

Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories. TMDE tracking, recall/due date labels, rejected/out-of-tolerance.

COMMERCIAL

ISO/IEC 17025

Testing & calibration lab competence standard. Tamper-resistant status ID with required traceability fields.

Label Types

Calibration Status Labels

GREEN

CALIBRATED

Equipment has been calibrated and is within tolerance. Includes date and lab ID fields.

YELLOW

CALIBRATION DUE

Equipment is approaching its calibration due date. Alerts technicians to schedule calibration.

RED

CALIBRATION VOID

Calibration no longer valid. Equipment must not be used for measurement until recalibrated.

RED

DO NOT USE

Equipment has failed calibration or is out of tolerance. Requires immediate removal from service.

BLUE

NOT REQUIRED

Equipment does not require calibration per program determination. Prevents unnecessary calibration cycles.

ORANGE

LIMITED CAL

Calibrated for specific parameters only. Documents scope limitations for technicians.
