Product Description:

Tough and durable, this premium fabric tape is a hefty 13-mils thick, which makes it substantially strong with a 45 pounds-per-inch tensile strength. The tape has a matte finish, and it's made of cotton cloth with a vinyl coating. Its high resistance to abrasion and abuse (due to its high thread count) over time ensures that it wont crack or easily fall apart - there's a reason "Bookguard" has been a favorite book-binding tape for more than 30 years! The cloth material of the tape is highly-conformable to most surfaces, and you can easily write on the tape's surface with a felt-tip marker. Its ultra-aggressive adhesive permanently adheres to the most difficult surfaces, including vinyl. Each finished roll of "Bookguard Premium-Cloth Book Repair Tape" is cleanly shrink wrapped before shipping.

Worked great!

I made my first foray into book binding with a project with my grandchildren. We made a book about a recent fall hike we did together, including the pressed leaves we caught falling from the trees. The tape worked so well to provide support for the binding.and beauty to the finished product.

BookGuard Cloth Repair Tape

I recently bought a role of 1 1/2” tan cloth book repair tape. I needed to cut down to 1 1/8” width for a small project. This was easily done by cutting on release paper. Success!!

Perfect for my project!

Renewed a thirty year old wall paper border!

Your book binding tape was exactly the right color and width to cover some painting mistakes on a really old piece of wallpaper that I loved and cannot replace. Excellent customer service. I never would have found such a perfect match if I hadn’t found your website. The tape is super high quality and easy to work with. I’m sure I will find other ideas for the tape.
