Will it work for me?
Will it fit my dispenser?
It's a standard 3-inch core. The roll is about 2-1/4 in wide and about 4.1 in across (4.0–4.4 in depending on color), with one dot across. If your dispenser takes 3" cores and rolls at least that wide and that big around, it will fit.
Can I run them through a label printer?
These are pre-colored blank dots. We haven't tested them in thermal or inkjet label printers, so we can't promise they'll print. Need printed dots? Ask us about custom imprinted dots.
Will they stick in the cold, or in a hot warehouse?
Yes. The standard, specialty and fluorescent colors use AT150, an all-temperature adhesive: apply down to -20°F, holds from -65°F to 160°F. Karen in Florida: “They never loose their stickiness, even in Florida's heat and humidity.” Metallic Gold should be applied at 35°F or warmer.
Can I write on them?
Yes. At 2 inches there's room for a date, initials or a short word in felt-tip or permanent marker. The standard colors are semi-gloss paper, so give the ink a few seconds to dry. We haven't lab-tested ballpoint or pencil; ask for a free sample to try your pen.
Do they work outdoors or when wet?
They're made for indoor use on clean, dry surfaces. The face is paper, so rain and standing water will wear it. For outdoor pallets or yards, talk to us first.
Do volume discounts work if I mix colors?
Yes. Every color of this product counts toward the same tier, so 1 red + 2 green is 3 rolls. Different sizes are counted separately. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
Why do some colors cost less?
Prices are set per color. Your exact price shows when you pick a color, and the volume discount applies on top.
Are they food safe?
The AT150 adhesive meets FDA 21 CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact: fine on boxes, containers and lids. Not for direct contact with food.
Can I pay with a purchase order?
Yes. We take POs with Net 30 terms ($200 minimum). Card orders have no minimum.
