This Week's Top Productivity Picks:

Brain.fm - The best audio/music for work tool I've ever found

As a guy with ADD who's tried nearly everything to try to focus and get work done, I'm always looking for tools to help - most of them suck.

This one is different.  I've been using it for a few days, and it's been a game changer.  You can pick your style of music, what type of focus you need, and...  AND...  THIS IS THE GAME CHANGER:  They have a feature called Neural Effect.

I don't know how to describe it other than - it makes my brain...  shimmer.  Below are my settings that I am using right at this moment...

If that sounds weird, I get it.  But I don't know how else to describe it. You've just gotta try it. It is really odd at first, but I will absolutely continue my subscription for this.

LastPass:  Finally manage - and securely share - your passwords

I used to have a text file on my computer with all my passwords.  Joe told me 6 years ago, in no uncertain terms to knock it off, and told me to start using LastPass.  I haven't looked back.

Yes, you have a password manager in your browser, maybe as part of your iCloud subscription, etc.  But LastPass works across platforms and apps - and you can set various levels of sharing with team members, family members, etc, all securely.

Not to mention securely storing notes and files.  Chrome can't do that.

KeySmart: Get rid of bulky key-rings that double as weapons

I love this thing.  1) it forces you to downsize the number of keys you carry, which is not a bad thing - it only allows for 8 keys.  2) it keeps them compact, not rattling, not poking holes in your purse or pocket or scratching your phone.  3) it keeps them organized.

I've used this for a few years now (those are my keys below, and you can see a bit of wear on the edge, but it's pretty good still!) and I'm a huge fan.  Joe started using it too.

And there are different add-ons, like this quick-release valet key option for my car key.  No, I am not in the habit of using actual valets, but it's super handy for things like an oil change when you don't want to hand over your house access.
